JAPENGO in Tubingen

One of the best places in the area. The quality and taste of the dishes and cocktails are outstanding. The staff is very friendly and tried hard to please the guests. We come regularly and with great pleasure. We wish Ms. Plate and her team that they get through this difficult time well.

Got food there. It was delicious and plentiful, and picking up was completely uncomplicated.

The food was very tasty, unfortunately you often had to wait too long for your drink or order again or get it yourself. You could have made more sales if the drinks went out faster. What I have to say the waitresses were very friendly and the food came to the table in no time for the many people and side dishes came very quickly.

We were there for the first time in years, and were very satisfied. The two 2 blond waitresses were extremely friendly and attentive. This is how the services have to be.

Food and drink were excellent. Super price / performance. For dinner we had a Jäger-Meister burger (deer) medium highly recommended, as was the dessert variation Japengo super fresh fruit and delicious ice cream and sorbet. Cocktails were great too, no boring 0815 mixes, overall the evening was perfect.

The shop has a very nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. Everything we ordered so far was excellent. The absolute hammer, however, is the mousse au chocolat. Normally I do not like to eat it, but it was so delicious that I would even come to JAPENGO for it! A little more expensive but highly recommended.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Tübingen. Excellent food (with focus on the local Swabian cuisine), friendly staff, plenty of parking on site and in the close vicinity, good music selection (not too loud either), beautiful ambience (fells like a good mix of modern, American, and a bit Steakhouseish). Be sure to reserve a table if you go there on a weekend evening.

Nice location and good food

Really great location. There's something about the colonial style atmosphere. The cordial service was a pleasure. The food is excellent. Definitely more upscale by Tübingen standards. Only today discovered that you can sit outside in summer. I especially liked it. You're in the industrial area and think you're sitting in a park

• Fast service, okay food. • Service was fast and polite. Not sure about prices, as it was a business lunch and I did not pay. • Food was off of the lunch menu and it was nothing special, more of an average quality, at least as far as the dumplings go.
